Keely Rew is an illustrator and author living in Ayr, Scotland. A graduate of the University of Glasgow, she has worked as a comic book-monger and a foam sword merchant. She keeps no cats, but several ghosts.
As for what she's been reading, Keely has liked Hilton Als's White Girls, Michael Clune's memoir, Gamelife, and the huge Mary Poppins collection Moogle got her for her birthday.
"Rust Never Sleeps" is inspired by the works of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, the animator Peter Chung, and the B-Ark from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
