A native of Ayr, Scotland, Andrew Cairns is a First Reader and Sound Engineer for Third Flatiron Anthologies. He received his degree in media studies from the University of the West of Scotland.
"Santa Claus Comes Straight to the Sprawl" was inspired in part by the classic Sprawl cyberpunk of William Gibson, a world of high-tech specialist mercenaries and bandits trying to exist in the shadows of a cruel corporate dystopia.
